Information packet for "Soufflé Japaning", the final third performance in Trois Soirs pour Brion Gysin by Yukio Imamura (painting), Shiro Daimon (dance), and Steve Lacy (music).
Trois Soirs pour Brion Gysin was a series of performances held between 17-19 December 1986 at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, in the Grand Auditorium, all three evenings. This was a memorial to Brion Gysin, who had died on 13 July 1986.
This includes – in both French and Japanese – a statement from Yukio Imamura and a two-page introduction to Imamura by Pierre Restany (on 25 March 1986). A biography/exhibition history/bibliography of Imamura is on the final page.
