Three flyers for the "voudou" installation by Hänzel & Gretzel entitled "Burroughs, Vertical?" at Etablissements Phonographiques de l'Est (E.P.E.), Paris, between 16-19 January 1993.

"'Burroughs Vertical?', a video installation on six monitors and made with four tapes, mixes the voice and photos of the American Beat Generation author William S. Burroughs with a flashing stream of image fragments. Two balls made out of concentric circles in green and orange keep spinning around like they are trying to hypnotize the audience. Images of a devil-man and of shaman figures keep on reappearing. It’s almost as if the installation had been built to create a true voodoo experience." [from Argos, link below]
