Roger Knoebber's "Chess Principles for General Consideration" (n.d.)

Paris, France: Roger Knoebber (typescript), circa late 1980s. 11.75" x 8.25", single sheet, typed on both sides by Knoebber, folded into eighths. RK00000000_M11_1 A typescript page on which Roger Knoebber typed his principles for chess playing, given to photographer and friend Philip Heying (assumed in the late 1980s). Roger and Philip frequently played chess together. This is divided into the following sections: Opening Transition to middle game Middle game Transition to the end game Endgame Random  general instructions This was acquired from Philip Heying for the archives during a July 2026 trip to his rural Kansas home.
