Lawrence was a good friend of Roger Knoebber, Philip Heying, and Brion Gysin, an artist who tragically died of AIDS in October 1993 in a hospice, in Philip Heying's care. 

This print was acquired from Philip Heying for the archives while visiting his rural Kansas home.
